| An Extreme Heat Warning is out for the highlighted areas for Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening. This means we expect dangerous heat for multiple days with heat indices over 100 degrees and at points as high as 110. Beyond Tuesday, hot and humid conditions stick around through the end of the week and likely through the 4th of July weekend. Make sure you are prepared to stay safe and healthy during this upcoming heat wave! Aside from the heat, there are a few storm chances as well. There is a chance for an isolated severe storm in southern Iowa overnight tonight and again Monday night, particularly in northwest Iowa. |
