| Smoke from wildfires in Utah will continue to spread across the area with localized critical fire weather conditions today. Moisture begins to increase this afternoon with isolated dry thunderstorms and better potential for wetting rain tonight into Thursday as showers/storms become more scattered and relative humidity increases. New fire starts are possible in lower slopes and valleys due to antecedent dry conditions with better chances of wetting rain in the higher elevations. Very dry and windy conditions return Friday and Saturday, leading to potential for more widespread critical fire weather concerns. |
