| Seasonably hot conditions are expected to continue over southeast Texas through early next week. Highs will reach 88-98°F (31-37°C). The afternoon heat index will reach 99-110°F (37-43°C). Morning low temperatures will be around 74-85°F (23-29°C). Heat safety should be practiced. Stay hydrated. Reduce time outdoors between 10 am – 6 pm. Check on elderly, kids and pets, as they are all sensitive to heat. Wear light-weight, light-colored clothing. |
